It's been a while, and since it's the last day of August, I thought that it would only be appropriate to post something here before this month ends.

It may not be January 2012 just quite yet, but I've got a list of resolutions up my sleeve already. Despite the rainy welcome of the BER months, I think my list is pretty achievable by year end :)

August on a good note

Following the tragedy that was the month of July, I feel that we should kick start August with some good vibes and some kick ass music. So this morning as I was going through my favorite music blogs, I stumbled upon this track that absolutely blew my mind!

If you must know, this track, Mayer Hawthornes' When The Night Falls, is actually a Chromeo cover (Chromeo is an Electrofunk band so think keyboards, synths, the works). But what I loved about this cover is that it veered away from the sometimes tacky nature of synth music and instead went down a more laid back, "easy listening" route which I totally dig.

But, enough of my blabbering. Let's just let the music do the talking :)
