[Thoughts while watching 500 Days Of Summer again]
Today, we easily forget what a good movie is like thanks to the plethora of rom-com and action flicks that are admittedly entertaining to watch but are truly insubstantial (parang cream puff). But thanks to movies like 500 Days Of Summer, we are reminded of just how much more interesting it is to watch a well-written, shot, and edited film. Plus, it doesn't have that oh-so happy ending we all expect to see at the end of a Hollywood flick, which garners it ++ points!
